Versatility means value
The Brain Monitor features 50 clearly marked input channels – 32 referential, 6 differential, 10 DC, plus oxygen saturation and pulse rate from an integrated MasimoSET oximeter, clinically proven to outperform all other oximeters. Both Sleep and EEG studies can be run using the Brain Monitor or, with its 50 channels, a full EEG study and Sleep study at the same time! A patient-event-switch interface and a photic-stimulator interface are standard to allow complete EEG functionality. The Brain Monitor's versatility translates into a more cost-effective solution – and a better return on your investment.
Brain Monitor delivers connectivity & convenience
The Brain Monitor amplifier with TCP/IP connectivity can plug into your network anywhere and stream data to an acquisition computer in the room next door, or one as far away as your network can reach. Without the need for custom cabling or expensive proprietary hardware, the Brain Monitor amplifier also has USB connectivity plugging conveniently into an acquisition computer right next to it.
With the Brain Monitor, you can run an impedance test directly from the amplifier and view the results right at the patient's bedside. The Brain Monitor features a small, lightweight breakout box and a lightweight and flexible cable between the breakout box and base unit, providing comfort for the patient; and includes a built-in night light, making it convenient for the technician. A strap attaches to a clip on the back of the breakout box, so the patient can wear the breakout when out of bed.
Improved workflow
The Brain Monitor includes DC inputs on both the breakout box and the base unit, thus improving workflow since fixed devices can interface with the base unit, and portable devices can interface with the breakout. What's more, the DC inputs on the base unit are conveniently split between the front and back, so permanent connections can be made securely at the back, and temporary connections made easily in the front.
The rugged and durable Brain Monitor Sleep/EEG amplifier is a true IP-addressable headbox that's small, simple to use and that can be viewed over your facility's network, or connected via a USB cable to a local computer.
