Digital Switch Matrix Support
Combining high signal quality, ease and flexibility in both setup and configuration with Digital Switch Matrix support for functional mapping of the brain, XLTEK's EMU128FS epilepsy monitoring package was designed for efficiency. Using XLTEK's EMU128FS headbox and our Digital Switch Matrix software, together with an external stimulator, you can now apply stimulation current selectively to specific electrodes.

Improved workflow
XLTEK's Digital Switch Matrix software lets you, via a simple toolbar, open or close relay switches allowing or denying stimulation current to selected electrodes. The electrode pairs applying stimulation can be easily and conveniently switched using the software's simple, user-friendly interface. This improves workflow since you no longer have to plug and unplug electrodes. Stimulation can be either bipolar (with two electrode channels selected) or monopolar (with one channel set to None). Best of all, you are always able to record EEG data during stimulation.

Patient safety
XLTEK's Digital Switch Matrix software also prevents multiple users from obtaining control over the device simultaneously from several stations. As a result, it is impossible for one of the stations to display an incorrect state of the device while it is being controlled by another station. And the EMU128FS headbox itself comes with two event inputs – one for the patient and one for family or staff.

With a proven amplifier design for digital signal processing, XLTEK's EMU128FS redefines flexibility in an EEG system. The EMU128FS acquires detailed readings and gives you the picture quality you need while providing you with the ease and flexibility in both setup and configuration you want. The EMU128FS permits single or multiple-channel configurations, including grid electrodes with up to 128 channels. In addition, 250, 500, 1000 and 2000 Hz sampling frequencies are supported and selectable through the software.
